Ulysses Hui, Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine

Today, my guest is Ulysses Hui, a Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine, who helps companies of all sizes manage innovation risk; develop best practices considering new and changing regulations and standards; and structure strategic collaborations, as well as negotiate the gamut of technology, business, and commercial deals.

He has counseled clients in such diverse technologies as software and cloud services, blockchain, NFTs, IoT, digital media, AdTech, AI/ML, semiconductors, computer architecture, quantum computing, biopharmaceuticals, remote sensors, and aerospace; and anticipates working with clients on new technologies and business models yet to come. Prior to joining DWT, Uly served as general counsel of a multinational supplier to leading-edge smartphone, AR/VR, wearables, and automotive companies, the same skills proved vital in forging collaborations with vertical ecosystem partners. Uly holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA from Vassar College.
