Simon Frankel, Partner at Covington

Today, my guest is Simon Frankel, a Partner at Covington & Burling who is an experienced litigator focusing on copyright and trademark disputes, with an emphasis on the technology and consumer products sectors.

He is also a recognized authority in the field of art law, where he has handled disputes involving cultural property claims, title issues, moral rights claims, and resale royalties and also advised on a range of fine art transactions. In addition, he teaches a class on Art and the Law at Stanford Law School. Simon holds a BA (summa cum laude) from Harvard University, a M.Phil. from Cambridge University and a JD from Yale Law School, where he was an Editor for the Yale Law Journal.
