Steve Carlson, Partner at Robins Kaplan
Today, my guest is Steve Carlson, a Partner at Robins Kaplan who is a first chair litigator in patent, trade secret, and other high technology cases. With a degree in chemistry, he’s worked across the technology spectrum, including medical diagnostics, biotechnology, software, artificial intelligence systems, and computer hardware. Steve is a former judicial law clerk to the Federal Circuit and the District of Delaware, with a J.D. from Yale Law School.
Prior to law school, he previously served in the United States Peace Corps, where he was a health and sanitation volunteer in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, speaking Berber and Arabic. Steve recently led a project with Rotary International to build an irrigation aqueduct in the villages that hosted him in the Peace Corps. In his spare time, he’s a cheesemaker, and he’s reading the Iliad in Ancient Greek.
