Ramsey Homsany, Co-Founder of Octant

Today, my guest is Ramsey Homsany, Co-Founder and President of Octant, a therapeutics company building drugs that match the complexity of human diseases. Before Octant, he was an executive at Dropbox, where he had roles leading Dropbox’s communications, public policy & government affairs, human resources, legal, and trust & security teams.

During that time Dropbox raised $1+ billion in capital, grew to more than 500 million users, and was the fastest SAAS company in history to reach $1 billion in revenue run rate. Prior to Dropbox, Ramsey was a Vice President at Google, where he managed Google’s commercial legal groups and negotiated some of the internet industry’s largest partnerships. Before that, Ramsey was a technology attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He has also done pro bono work representing indigent clients seeking political asylum. Ramsey received a B.S. in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University and a J.D. from NYU Law School.
