Nancy Hogshead-Makar, Olympic Gold Medalist
Today, my guest is Nancy Hogshead-Makar, an Olympic swimmer who won 3 Gold medals and one Silver medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
After retiring from competitive swimming, she obtained a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and later became a tenured professor at Florida Coastal School of Law, where she taught torts and sports law courses until 2013. After spending over 30 years with the Women's Sports Foundation (starting as an intern in 1984), she is now the Founder and CEO of Champion Women, an advocacy organization for girls and women in sports.
