Luca Salvi, Chair of Sheppard Mullin
Today, my guest is Luca Salvi, who is Chair of Sheppard Mullin‘s Executive Committee in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Formerly, Luca was a partner in the Corporate Practice Group, served as the Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office and was the leader of the firm’s Aerospace and Defense Team and the Private Equity Team.
Luca practices in the areas of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. He represents companies, investment banks and private equity firms in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities offerings and financings. He handles acquisitions and leveraged financing transactions on behalf of private equity firms and other buy-out sponsors, as well as firms in aerospace, defense, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, communications, luxury goods, candy and retail industries. Luca represents both public and private sector clients in the U.S. and abroad, with a practice specialization that includes cross-border transactions (particularly involving Italian and other European companies). Luca holds degrees from Georgetown Law School and Georgetown University.
