Brad Waugh, General Counsel at TP-Link

Today, my guest is Brad Waugh, General Counsel at TP-Link, a global leader in networking devices and smart home solutions. With extensive experience in intellectual property law and corporate litigation, Brad oversees the company’s legal strategy, ensuring robust protection of TP-Link’s global IP portfolio and driving compliance across its operations in over 170 countries.

Prior to joining TP-Link, Brad held prominent roles at Intel Corporation, where he served as Associate General Counsel, leading high-stakes patent litigation and managing complex legal disputes worldwide. His career also includes practice at leading law firms such as Cooley LLP and Day Casebeer. Brad holds a JD from Stanford University Law School and degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (BS) and Rice University (MS).
