Ken King, Partner at Skadden

Today, my guest is Ken King, a Partner in the Silicon Valley office of Skadden Arps, which office celebrated its 20th anniversary in July 2018. Ken is widely recognized as one of the country’s preeminent corporate attorneys where he provides clients a strong focus on the technology, semiconductor and biotech sectors, regularly handling complex, cross-border M&A transactions and advising companies and boards on shareholder activism and corporate governance matters. 

Fluent in Japanese, Ken has also represented numerous U.S. and Japanese corporations in connection with cross-border transactions. He also has advised multinational corporations on acquisitions and joint ventures in multiple jurisdictions in Europe and Asia. Ken holds a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Berkeley Law School where he was Editor-in-Chief of the California Law Review and Order of the Coif.
