Kirk Lacob, NBA Champion Golden State Warriors

Today, my guest is Kirk Lacob, Assistant General Manager for the 2017 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors where he is involved in all aspects of the team’s basketball operations, including player personnel evaluation, draft preparation and scouting.

He also served two years (2011-13) as the team’s player development representative with the league office, coordinating and implementing programs to aid in the overall development of players both on and off the court. In addition, Kirk continues to oversee operations for the Warriors NBA Development League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors, and served as the club’s general manager for three seasons from 2011-2014. Kirk graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Science, Technology and Society.
