Fabio Marino, Partner at McDermott

Today, my guest is Fabio Marino, a Partner and experienced intellectual property trial lawyer at McDermott, Will & Emery who leads the firm’s Northern California IP practice. Fabio tries high-stakes patent, trade secrets and copyright cases across the United States, with particular emphasis on computer-related technologies. Fabio has technical experience in a variety of areas, including computer networks, telecommunications, software engineering, computer architecture, digital circuit design, flash memory, DRAMs, parallel computing and artificial intelligence. Fabio teaches the Intellectual Property Litigation class at Santa Clara University School of Law and coaches Santa Clara and Berkeley’s teams in the Giles S. Rich Patent Moot Court Competition. Fabio holds a BS from University of Pennsylvania, an MS from UCLA and a JD from UC Hastings College of Law.
