David Lat, Founder of “Above the Law”

Today, my guest is David Lat, a Yale Law School alum, former Ninth Circuit clerk, Wachtell Associate and Founder and Managing Editor of “Above the Law,” a widely read and award-winning website covering the legal profession.

When I spoke with David late last year, he had just published his first novel, Supreme Ambitions, which allowed him to combine his creative writing skills with his circuit court clerking experience. Although he hasn’t committed to writing a second book, the first one ends with the perfect set up for a sequel and I am already looking forward to him returning as a guest if he finishes it!
